Here is a gallery of the last week’s happenings…

August 22

Above are some images from conception thru to the backyard bunker staging area (complete with 4 dogs and a turtle running in and out of the bunker!), covered objects, choice MRI’s, and finally the delivery of the Bunker to Coastline Art Gallery!

Studio day today; finished the gas mask and Tiffany stopped by with Pom Pom’s for sprinkles.

Next up: finish a few more food stuffs and begin making cozies for the medical tools that will hang in the Bunker.  This weekend we cover the Cupcake with vanilla frosting and install the surveillance system.

It has begun!
We have a Kickstarter video and I will be posting the progress of the Sweet refuge.
Thank you to everyone whose donations helped us reach our goal!
Here are a few of the mock-ups for the project.
Imagine this Smart car size, about 8 feet tall.

Next post: what will we put in the bunker?
Can opener, gas mask and iodine drops to start.  Each safe in a pink cozy.

Stitchocracy is currently in the gallery as a part of  I’m A Frayed Knot at Orange Coast College Arts Pavilion.
We are doing workshops until March 17, please stop by Tuesday – Thursday 11-7 pm, and Saturday 11-4 pm

Pseudo- Sod car cover at LA’s Trash for Teaching.
LA yarn bombers are working with them to minimize waste and maximize education!
